Understanding Your Shipment Status

Every shipment from Miami to Jamaica passes through several stages. Here's what each tracking status means so you always know where your cargo is.

Shipment Stages

Received at Warehouse

Your shipment has arrived at our Miami warehouse and been logged into our system. You'll receive a dock receipt number for tracking.

Processing

We're measuring, weighing, and preparing your cargo for consolidation. Any required customs documentation is being prepared.

Loaded on Container

Your shipment has been consolidated and loaded onto a shipping container, sealed and ready for departure.

In Transit

The vessel has departed Miami and is en route to Jamaica. Ocean freight typically takes 7-10 business days.

Arrived at Port

The container has arrived at the destination port in Kingston or Montego Bay and is going through customs clearance.

Ready for Pickup / Out for Delivery

Customs clearance is complete. Your shipment is either available for pickup at the port or out for door-to-door delivery.

Expected Timelines

7–10 days

  • Keep your dock receipt number handy. You'll receive it when your shipment is checked in at our Miami warehouse. It's the fastest way to look up your cargo status.

  • Tracking updates happen at each stage. Statuses are updated as your shipment moves through the process — from warehouse receipt through to port arrival and delivery.

  • Shipment seems delayed? Ocean freight timelines can vary due to weather or port congestion. If your shipment hasn't updated in a while, contact our team and we'll look into it right away.
